The jolly-boat hove to alongside the "Lady Rosamund Golightly", and a bosun's chair was let down for Tappin' John and Sawn - Off Jones.

"Well then, Tappin' John and Sawn Off are here!" Called Ben Stilt. "Well I'll be blowed." shouted Seadog Trescothic. "Long time Tappin' John". "Aye" said Tappin' John. "Thought I'd seen the last of 'ee." "Well here I am givin' you a hand aboard Tappin' John" said Seadog, and then quietly "Somethin's definite on Tappin' John..............somethin's on" he whispered. "Aye Aye,Sawn Off------you still got Mr Scurvy then, must be four years now or thereabouts." "Certain is",said Sawn Off, "never leaves my shoulder don't Mr Scurvy----do 'ee matey" he said stroking Mr Scurvy on the back of the head. Mr Scurvy liked this, and purred like a kitten. "Orders are we sail slow out of harbour here, then Cap'n'll give us the low down" said Seadog the bosun. "Breeze blowin' up Tappin' John" he continued. "stow yer gear below somewhere-----you too Sawn- Off, and back on deck to hear what Cap'n has to say, and look lively there!"...............Page 5>>>
